This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application Price My Cake (referred to as "the Application"), published on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
1. Information We Collect
The Application collects information you directly provide when logging in or saving records to your profile:
- Personal Profile Information: If you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and unique user ID.
- Application Data: We store custom recipes, portion parameters, pricing structures, extras packages, and exported quote details.
- Diagnostic Data: We automatically record technical performance metrics, device models, and crash reports.
2. Third-Party Services We Use
To deliver cloud storage, authentication, analytics, and billing, we integrate securely with the following third-party partners. These platforms operate under their own data privacy policies:
Firebase Authentication
Manages user logins, email account credentials, and secure profile sessions.
Cloud Firestore
Stores and synchronizes database records (recipes, quotes) across devices.
Firebase Crashlytics
Tracks stability problems, stack traces, and crash analytics for diagnostics.
RevenueCat
Validates purchase transactions and coordinates premium subscription tiers.
3. Data Protection & Transit
All database payloads and authorization streams are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). User credentials and databases are hosted on Google Cloud Firebase storage, relying on modern access token protocols.
4. Device Access Permissions
To support key application modules, you may grant permissions to access:
- Camera / Photos Library: Used to photograph recipes or load files for OCR text parsing (processed locally and not uploaded).
- Microphone / Speech Recognition: Used to dictate ingredient measurements hands-free (processed via built-in Google Speech APIs).

Data Management & Deletion
We believe you should have complete control over your baking library and personal details. Below are the steps to delete individual items, reset your database, or delete your cloud account.
Wipe Local & Cloud Database (Reset App Data)
If you want to clear your local database and reset your app entirely without deleting your profile login:
- Go to the bottom navigation bar and tap the **Settings** gear icon.
- Scroll down to the **Danger Zone** section.
- Tap the red **Reset App Data** button.
- Confirm the action. All recipes, ingredients, quotes, and extras will be wiped permanently.
Delete Entire User Account
To delete your account authentication profile, name, email address, and all synced data permanently from our servers:
- Open the **Settings** screen in the Application.
- Under your account profile details, select **Delete Account**.
- Confirm the deletion. Your profile will be wiped instantly from our systems.
Delete Individual Recipes
If you want to clean up your library by removing specific recipes without wiping your entire catalog:
- Go to the **Recipes** tab on the navigation bar.
- To delete directly, swipe left on the recipe card you want to remove.
- Alternatively, tap to open the recipe details, tap the **Trash Can** icon at the top right, and confirm the deletion.
Wipe Data After Uninstalling (Email Request)
If you have already deleted the app from your device and wish to request manual removal of your synced data and account details, please copy the template below and send it to our support address.
